last week i bought a set of wireless headphones for GT and fisher F75

several hunters have told me they work pretty good.

i will not use the word great, but they work pretty good on the F75, but will not work at all on the GT.

i can hear them work as i plug them in, but after that

no go joe

my buddy beachcomber tell me this:

"Hope this helps. If your wireless headphones did not come with the GT and if they have a stereo headphone jack that is the reason they don't work. Minelab uses the tip and ring and not the ground wire which makes anything with a stereo jack and no switch to make it mono not work."

i guess that is the reason

Yes Max, it is the same thing when using the Black Widow phones. The switch has to be in right possition. I must get some wireless phones to play with.

Mine will work on my GT if I plug my amp (Doc's) in first, then the wireless head phones.

I'm using the radio shack cordless on my Tesoros and so far they've been great. the charge lasts long enough to make a long day of hunting( 8+ hrs). No lag time when pinpointing(I just X the target in disc), and the sound response is fine, can't compare to any widows or gray ghost or other high end phones as I don't have any.
