Last Thursday & Friday's Finds.
I was lucky enough to be off work Thursday & Friday, so thought I'd do a little detecting. A little cool Thursday, but very nice Friday! Unfortunately, I couldn't get a hold of anyone at the places I wanted to go, so I decided to go arrowhead hunting instead.
I arrived at one of my favorite farms to find out they had recently dug a huge new lake!
It was a bit late Thursday evening, but I managed to find one really nice point, and an old Benington pottery marble. I also found a small button & noticed a few pieces of broken China, couple old nails, etc. so I'll have to bring a detector along sometime.
Anyway, here's the point (Called a Smith point) and the marble:
I returned Friday & found another really nice point & a few broken pieces. Here's the second point:
I'll be heading back there again soon!
