Thanks for the reply I have the nicer pieces displayed in my home the rest are around flower beds and borders around my yard my husband bust a lot up to see whats on the inside

I've heard that but we must live in the wrong part of the country everyone says mostly iron , copper and pyrite and mica through here but we can hope

I always pick up some nice quartz in se okla and arkansas.

Quartz is so pretty! I'll pick up pieces while I'm detecting. Most of mine goes out side, my son was going to scare a cat away from the bird feeder, picked up one of my "rocks" to toss at it and I'm yelling "not that one!" Lol!
