I think this is a hat pin no idea on age. Also 1946 half crown,1923 one shilling,1929 six pence all silver and a shell gas coin uk version.I did go mding today but spot was not ready so I went to my back up and got mostly shot gun shells and a old ball button. Not worth posting.

That is actually a very early cap badge to find over here. The top central crown is missing that would date it more easily, but mid-19th C is about right. I only have small pieces of this type, so I would be pretty pleased with that one.
