I picked 2 little squash this morning. The yellow frame is the headboard from an old bed I found early this spring with my Simplex. I figured it would make a good trellis for a garden “bed”. They are heirlooms called Benning’s Green, I believe. The vine borers wiped out about 7 others like it.

Thanks. I agree. I used some hybrids, but much prefer the throwback seeds. No GMOs. At some point we have to give up convenience for health and ethics. Processed foods and GMOs are the devil; IMO.
