We got quite a lot of snow now but it should be gone for the weekend. If so, i'll be detecting. There are a number of new sites that i got a permission on.

I dug these before the snowfall.

Coins, buckles, rings, buttons. Probably the most common finds on these fields. Right after bottle caps.

A buckle of some sort and possibly a knife handle fragment.

A russian coin. The date is on the third line in cyrillic. Looks like 1711-1718. That time was hell for the people living in this area.

A battered hammered from 1666. A first for me. 31,3% silver.

Always nice to find an intact bell.

From a saw handle. H. Disston & sons Philada. I guess that's all that is left of that saw.

Nice finds, Congrats!

Wow! I would dig through a foot of snow for those finds.

I always enjoy the pictures you share with us because we just don't get the chance to see finds like you make over there. I was scrolling through and came to the end of them today and I see a keystone emblem! That is the emblem used by our state - Pennsylvania! Congrats to you. Hope the snow leaves you so we may see more!

Thank you for the kind words. We had nearly a foot of snow a couple days ago and now barely none. I'll go get something good to end the season with.

NICE BUNCH OF RELICS .....

Excellent hunt, , the whole world of Metal Detecting is getting ready for Winter. Me,, I'm going to hunt until the ground is frozen solid.

Cool finds, I'd love to hunt there!
