Last hunts of 2013..LOTS OF COOL RELICS!

Well, I managed a few hunts over the holidays to end a wonderful year of metal detecting for me and my friends at Mid-Atlantic Relic & Coin Hunters. I had the chance to metal detecton on December 21 with a few new guys and make some great friends in the process. New Years Eve hunt was awesome and managed to pull a nice 1820 U.S. Naval Button along with a host of other buttons and coins. The spear point was awesome because me and my new friend Chris found the two sections hours apart and about 100 yards from each other. I also posted some of my finds throughout the year (in the tupaware and drawers) That is but a fraction of my many finds I made in 2013. I made it out on January 3rd of this year on a one hour solo investigative hunt and pulled a nice 1823 Capped Bust Dime, my first coin of the new year and yes I will be returning to this site many times in 2014.

Thanks Dan! I am lucky, I only work 10 days a month at my job. So, I get a lot of free time but my three kids do manage to keep me busy but mostly in the spring and summer months. Then it is surfing time!!!
