This will probably be our last hunt until Aug.
The spring beans were just breaking ground.
The last time I was on this Roman Site, I found 4 scrappies & a fibula in 30mins, today I struggled to get anything. Ended up doing 2 hrs 15mins with little to show;
4 Roman Coins
1st C AD Roman Fibula (Brooch)
Roman Clay Kiln Bar - these are rare & suggests the site might have had a pottery kiln.
My detecting partner did a lot better; 4 Roman Coins, Roman Lion's Head Box Mount (one of the nicest I've seen) & Ed I Hammered Farthing.
