[FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]Happy New Year all! I got out for a little while the last day of the year and had a successful close to 2015. [/FONT]
[FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]I decided to go back to the field where on the 24th of December I found a sweet 18k gold ring and 2 silver rings in around 1 hour of detecting. [/FONT]
[FONT=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]While the finds were not as prolific as my first venture there, they were excellent none the less.
The highlight of the day for me was a first, a coin purse/wallet found with actual coins inside!! A pretty cool Disney bi-fold plastic wallet from the 50's or so with 2 wheaties and a silver war nickel in it! I have found plenty of purse clasps but no coins to go with them!
