Well guys i pulled the trigger on a new machine late in the season. I must say i'm really likeing the new unit  Anyway trying to get out as much as i can before the weather gets bad. The pics below are from four hunts. I got a nice tip from one of the parks people at the place i hunt. Seems like everyone has passed by this place as its comming up with the goods on every hunt. Enjoy the rest of the season and HH to all.

First hunt i got a 1901 barber dime "my oldest coin"

4th hunt i only had an hour. Nailed my first V nickle "1909" and 2 mercs. The 1924 is almost perfect other than the stain color.

Nice digs...The 1800's are calling you big time..... jgas

Nice finds! What happened,I thought you were a dedicated F-75 man?Welcome to the dark side!

Tom, you know the story about the old bull and the young bull? :tongue3:

EZrider,

Can we see another picture of the pocketknife you found if you cleaned it up?

It looks like you may have found a Remington R3335 Boy Scout knife with the bail rusted off. The Remington R3335, in nice condition, would be worth $400 or more. As dug, in rusted condition, it is probably not worth much, but is an AWESOME find!!!!!!!

Here is a picture of one...

Nice finds "EZrider". That new machine is working well for you.
Congratulations. Doug (blklab)

Timeforme, it looks just like the one in your picture but with the standard American flag. The blades are completly fused and rusted together. I wasn't that deep, maybe 4 inches siting ontop of a fist sized rock.

Thanks all for the positive comments  I have to say with the new machine the quality of finds has went up and im digging 75% LESS trash.
