I haven't had much time to post with work eating up all my time - I end up getting home after midnight and getting up early a few hours later so I can squeeze a couple hours hunting in. Makes my weekends off a much needed break.

I did find some more silver - another Washington quarter and another walking Liberty! (Found that one very close to my home in a spot that kept popping out wheat pennies from the 40's) Found many, many interesting (to me at least) items. A pocket watch and fob, 14KT gold filled silver ring, my 7th Mercury dime, suspender clip marked with a patent date of 1871, some rubber plane with Mickey Mouse in it labeled "Mickey's Air Mail" - but it's really beat up and missing his head LOL! A gold plated women's watch with decorative monogrammed initials on the back, lot of decorative knick knacks and misc stuff too. I did find a coin/medal that was really rusted up and I could only see the outline of a man's profile on one side and some letters around the edges on both the front and back. Been working on it as a relaxing project to see if I can't figure out what it is. Whatever it is, it's worthless as the rust pretty much went all the way down. If I can read enough to find out what it is I'll count it as a "win". LOL

Still finding stuff from the late 1800's through the 1950's. Marbles keep popping up too. Got a couple yesterday. I'll post a couple more photos in a reply to this as I ran out of room here on this one.

Hope everyone is having a great start to the Fall season! Good luck out there and HH!

Nice assortment of finds. :icon_thumright:

Very nice collection! A very disperse assortment. Enjoy especially the Million Dollar Pier from St. Petersburg, Florida (heart-shaped) as well as the crusty holed thingy: looks to me like it has a portrait facing left, as well as writing along the inside edge. May have to put this in electrolosis for less surface crud. I'll be very interested to see what it turns out to be.
