Below are some things I have found during the last couple of weeks. The first on the left is a silver ring I found at my great grandfathers old house. The second is a Merc I found in a rockhouse; then an old locket I found at another old house. If anyone has any idea of the decade this might have come from Id appreciate the help. The fourth one over is a 1898 Indian Head penny. I have found many coins from the early 1900s, and even a coin from the 1700s, but this was my first 1800s coin so I am pretty excited. The last item is a wheat penny that looks like it was converted into a button. It has a hole at the top, one in the bottom and had been filed down. I found it in an old field next to my house. I have additional pics below.
The Indian head penny is on the left and the wheat penny converted into the bottom is on the right.
Here is a closer look at the Indian Head.
And here is the silver ring I found at my great grandfathers. I would like to find some information about it because it is probable that this belonged to my great grandmother or a great aunt. Just not sure of how old it is. It says "silver filled esp," on the inside. Thanks for looking!
