I think the company that made it is out of business now. PSCO is the maker's mark (Plainville Stock Company) I believe. I also feel it is worth more as jewelry and I think my wife may have called dibs on it already :D

Yes I believe it's Onyx. There are two other little ones that are the dolphin's eyes.
