3 ring minie - probably 58 caliber? Civil War era. Nice finds!

Sweet finds!! :headbang: :icon_thumright: Love the pocket watch and the barber is a beauty!

Great assortment of finds! Nice barber dime, watch and other silver finds, that's a very good day MD. HH

Oh wow!

That watch is really nice.

Looks like a gold filled hunter case..... is there any nomenclature on the inside of the case?

Cool pocket watch! Is it gold filled, or gold? Any brand?

Reason why I ask is that you could buzz it out in an ultrasonic cleaner, and slap a new movement/ dial in there, and have a cool watch worth a little bit.

Good hunting!

Nice finds. Great coins and a 3 ringer as well. I love digging those bullets. What is the buckle looking thing on the upper right side. Picture got cut off.

I made a scratch on the inside of the lid,, and its pure gold!! I belive the whole body is pure, it says defiance on the inside, needs more cleaning!!!!

Thanks for the reply

Great finds. It amazing where Civil War stuff will pop up. I found an Eagle I button at an old house site in Vandalia a few years back.
