Last couple of hunts, Two Indians & War Nickle!

Hello everyone,

Got out for a couple after work hunts about an hour each. First hunt, found a war nickel 1943-S. It’s actually been a long long time since I’ve found one and I dig nickels like crazy! Also, got a 1907 Indian and two wheats. Got a really really cool brass keyhole cover!

Today, went along a park and hit the curb strips, extremely trashy but some goodies underneath. First good target was a 1917 wheat penny and 1937 wheat penny in same home. Got several more wheaties and then at the base of a tree an 11-38 ended up being a 1905 Indian, 2 hunts in a row with Indians!! Also, got a marble and a cool lead Bell Power tag. The silver thing is a jean button and it hit 11-45 and I thought I had a silver dime, but not to be!

Those curb strips from what Ive seen posted are good hunting spots nice job on the coins and the war nickle I have a hard time finding those as well I like the keyhole cover thats a sweet find and the Bell tag. Looks like a great day all in all.......Tommy
