Hi all! These are my finds from the last couple of hunts at my sweet spot. I also took the detector on a kayak down the river to check out some potential spots. That is where found the glass and porcelain stuff as well as the buckle.
probably the best minie I've found
some musket balls. any idea why that one has a flat spot on it?
flat pieces of lead. hmmmm, what could those go to?
wire thingy. something or just a piece of barbwire?
top part of a ring/jewelry case. now I just gotta find what was in it! lol, it'll give me something to hope for.
what is this? in case it helps, I think there used to be a RR bridge across the river.
made by Illinois Glass Company, this particular mark ran from 1915 to 1929. c'mon gotta be some old silver in here!
woo hoo!! my first buckle! any ideas on type, age, origin etc...
a lone bullet...
this was probably my last water hunt of the year, now that it's getting colder, but I will definitely come back to these sites next spring. in the meantime I'm working on my site lineup for fall!
