Very nice set of finds for a short hunt, or for any hunt! Hope Cru’dad is feeling better and you chaps are able to get back out soon. Congrats! :occasion14:

Thank-fully he doesn't need his teeth to dig. Although he does need a bit of help right now with the concrete conditions as he can't do a double foot jump on the spade like me.

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

I sure hope Cru'Dad recovers fast! :icon_thumleft:

You two work very well as a team. hope he heals up quickly so that he can find some more stellar finds. always love to see what you two come up with and you guys never fail to produce something awesome

You guys always get the goodies. Congrats and hope he’s feeling better soon.

A field with a little bit of every period is always nice to have. You may get away with a find you didn't expected.
Get well soon Crudad!

Thanks all. I hope to post more on Friday, when Cru'dad uses semaphore to tell me he found lead.

Love the Lizzy coin and other finds. Wishing your dad a speedy recovery.

Some nice finds for sure! I wonder how old those four holes buttons are, cause I've also found some of those but I thought those were more modern, but since you displayed them together with the older buttons I believe they can be older? Just wondering

A very long time ago when I joined, I promised to post every hunt however good, bad or indifferent & all the items I took home. To give a true picture of how we operator. I was also asked later by a Tnet member how many buttons do you find a year? So instead of throwing them away, I started counting them all & picturing them all. In reality, I only keep those with patterns/military etc & the plain & 4 holed button types I chuck in a big junk tub. These 4 hole types are late 19th C to early 20th C.

You always have interesting finds. Love the hammered silver. I'm sure you have quite an enviable collection! :notworthy:
