Hello All. Over the week end I went to three different sites for these finds, a 1900's school yard, old city park, and an old home site.

I am very curious about the "SAM" ring. There is no gold mark on it but it sure looks and feels like gold. Is there any easy way to tell if it is gold?

Thanks for tuning in and may the finds be with you.

Wow you got a little bit of everything there.. That's a really good day of hunting in my opinion.. Congrats.

Just take that ring to at least two- maybe three jewelers - I think it looks good for 10-14K (looks heavy -10 grams?) Do please tell
us about the watch - looks 1920's -30's have you been able to open it up ?

Hello Argentium. Yes the ring is heavy and it shows no sign of being plated. If it is 10 or 14K shouldn't it be marked as such?

The watch find is only the back, the other side has nothing on it so this one's maker and vintage may remian unknown.

Thanks for the reply and HH. C9
