Went back out Sunday evening and after work Monday.
Dug a 1819 Spanish Half Real and several French Coppers.
Sunday afternoon was slow only digging a Rosie and a Toasted Liard De France, but Monday evening was pretty darn exciting.
Here is the Dirty pic from this afternoon. This site has been unreal, so I thought a dirty pic would be appropriate.

My First Ferdinand VII Spanish Half-Real.

A really worn 1721 Colonies Francois, a Nice 1721 Half Sol, and a really worn Liard De France.
I couldn't get my camera to take good pics of the coppers. They really look better in person.
2 are worn with just enough detail to get an ID.

The Francois. At just the right angle I can barely make out a 21 for the date.

1721 Half Sol. This one looks really nice in person.

The toasted Liard De France. Can just barely see the IAR to get an ID.

One lonely flat button.

The lead and brass. I included some of the rimfires I have been digging with an H at the base.
Also found this peculiar lead or pewter teacup and plate fragment. Not sure on how to date these. Possible childrens tea set.
More brass nails, hammered and punched lead.

Sweet finds! Love the half reale, nice detail. The other copper coins must have been fun to dig and ID. Congrats!

Bone glad you're saving this from the bulldozer. Hope you can dig this place for awhile longer. The finds are too good to be lost forever.

You make look so easy to be digging the Spanish silvers out that, even the old coppers. Well done once again on the two hunts.:occasion14:
Digging a Rosie must of been a tad disappointing. :)

Great finds man! That seems like a good spot to keep hitting

Great finds ! :occasion14:

Nice digs. Love the early French coins. Don't see them too often.

Holy finds! Those French coppers are on my bucket list big time! Got 3 French silvers but no coppers, there's something wrong with that ratio. Big congrats on those awesome coins!

Thanks PA. The coppers are fun to dig, but its tough getting one in nice condition.
Nice assortment of finds BonePicker.
Thanks VP

Thanks Dirt. If the dozer doesn't get it, the landfill surely will. I will be back to digging wheat pennies and Roosevelt dimes soon. It has been one hell of a run, and I have to take advantage of this while I can.

Thanks Pepper. It aint real easy, but the deus definitely helps. That rosie sounded good, and was a teaser for sure.

Thanks Been.
You're killing it. the 1721 half sol is a beauty.
Thanks Bud. It really does look better than the pics make it look.
Dug a half sol myself up here in SC, such a cool looking coin compared to the KGs we typically see. Nice work
Thanks Bud. I have seen a few come out of this site, and they all had nice details. They are nice coins. I have never dug a KG. I wonder how yours made it to SC.
Great finds ! :occasion14:
Thanks 440.
Nice digs. Love the early French coins. Don't see them too often.
Thanks Steve. Me neither, but when I do it is a nice surprise.

Thanks Aureus. That is an odd ratio. I have only seen one French silver come out of this area. Seems they liked the Spanish silver better.

You're still doing well! One of those sols has been on my want to find list for over a decade.

There's some great pieces of history! Congrats on the excellent finds! :headbang:
