Last 07 Hunt And I Got A First ...

Got out for a 2 hour hunt at an old country store site that I have hunted many times and usually walk away with a little something. The old store building was torn down in the 1950s and is now in a farm field currently in soybean stubble. I hit a wheat penny almost immediately and got a good feeling. I ended the day with 4 wheats, a 1953 Jefferson nickle, an undatable V nickle (my first and one of my 07 goals), a small heart pennant, a Warren Harding presidential medalion (it was getting dark and I thought I had a large cent ... almost caused heart failure), a button, a razor handle, a bullet lead, a fake jewel, and a couple of other doo dads. It was a fun hunt and I accomplished one of my goal coins on my last hunt of 2007. Thanks for looking and Happy New Year!
