Larson motivated me to get out old boxes of brokes and stuff I forgot about.
I kept these for some reason.
Never was sure if they were artifacts.
The "egg" has some small chipping on one end like from hammering but is very polished.
The disc is almost perfectly round and very flat on the bottom. Game piece?
I found both on a bluff in a cornfield. In the same field I have found hundreds of arrowheads and pottery.

Impressive!! ;D

I had NO idea that ancient indians played the guitar. :laughing7:

Look like hammer stones to me. The one with the flat bottom could be some type of cone.

HH,

Those are great..I realy like the hammer stone.The disk-koi-di-le(sorry I can't spell)
is sweet as well.(I have never found any of those to be more help)But that is a nice hammerstone.Tools are my fav. Congrats on some nice hard stone...Neo

i have almost the exact stone and it has been called a cone before. mine was pretty polished and slightly concave on the bottom. I found mine in a run off area with seven other points plus lots of flakes and tips. It was the reason I kept the stone. Glad I did. Nice stuff happy hunting
