First I'll post my mind blowing find for the day...
Why is a silver rosie a mind blowing find? Because it's pretty near the end of August and this is my first silver rosie for the year!
Love this store card. Dime left in for reference. From what I can find dates to the mid 1800s.
I couldn't find a whole large cent...I had to settle for a piece of one. Don't see too many cut coins in Michigan.
The pendant is sterling and quite delicate. Not sure of the age but based on the design, I bet it's older than me.
An old miniature key.
An ornate whatsit. Jewelry maybe?
And of course no hunt is complete without the dreaded dateless Buffalo Nickel.
Today's finds...
1960 Roosevelt Dime
Dateless Buffalo Nickel
3 Wheatbacks 1909, 1941, and 1950-D (Not pictured)
Cut piece of large cent
Store Token, Foster and Parry, Grand Rapids, Mich. Circa 1850
Antique sterling silver pendant
Miniature skeleton key
Ornate whatsit
