Looks like aluminium. How old is it? 1970? :dontknow: Why was it made?

Yes Kid found a picture of the medal and who Nicholas J Cugnot is but WHAT IS IT? When was it made? and what does it have to do with Christmas? :icon_scratch: Did I miss it?

OK, kind of have an answer. Yes, it's aluminum.

"Fortune for Christmas"...as in, Fortune Magazine. The magazine was founded in 1930, so that'd be the earliest date for this. I haven't tracked down the issue yet, but I'd guess it was a giveaway with a subscription way back then (the airplane looks like a late 1930s DC-3)...oh, I believe it was then meant as a Christmas ornament and not a token, medallion, etc. based on the hole at the top and the slogan.
