Hi all!

I've been hunting a homestead that's been in my family since 1902. My parents are selling it, and it's become my mission to salvage as much history as possible before it's sold. The closing date is imminent now, so today was a great day to get out.

I managed to find a number of wheat pennies, but the real treasure was this silver bracelet. Buried about 6 inches down. When I dug the plug, I was almost blinded by this whopper. It's big.

I'm trying to date it, and having some trouble. Any experts on makers marks? I see two pine trees, but couldn't find anything on the internet that matched.

Thanks in advance!

Kevin

Damn, what a loss. Too bad your parents are letting over 100 years of family history go. There has got to be awesome stuff on the site. Maybe you can invite a bunch of local MDers over and have a huge sweep done on the property.

Maybe you can find it on ww.925-1000.com It list all types of silver maker marks. Awesome find!

Awesome piece!!! Please let us know if you find out more about it!!!

Very nice! is that turquoise?

Hello NJ Garrett. That is far-out and solid! Good luck on salvage mission. HH C9.

I'm not sure if it's turquoise. Could be! I thought that it was jade. Very hard to tell. I might have to take it to a jeweler to see if they can provide some insight.

As for getting people together for a hunt, I'm totally up for it! Anyone in the central Jersey area want to hunt the property?

That is a whopper of a silver bracelet ! Nice save!
