Dug this at lunch in swampy area of 1800's farm site. It rang up in the silver/brass high range when in the hole and still rings high when sweeping with the detector? Some rusty iron rings high until I pull it out then it rings the proper iron.
Any ideas? It is fairly magnetic and weighs less than a typical iron farm washer. Worth electrolysis or just take a hammer to it?
