I looked up old windmill blades and old ventilation fans and I guess I am going with windmill blades! Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I love looking at all the suggestions I get so I googled old ventilation fans and I couldn't find anything that looked like these. If you have a photo you could share that would help me see what you are talking about, otherwise I will have to stick with the windmill theory. Either way I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

Yeah we had several like this you posted the pictures of when I was a kid, I knew right off I was looking at windmill blades.
