Large lead ball

Hi all. I found this lead ball a couple of weeks ago here in upstate NY.Could this be a bullet ?....seems kinda big for that ? It's about 1 1/4 inches round ...sorry thats the best I can do on size...I only have a tape measure. Thanks !

It could easily be a canister shot/ or maybe a swivel shot. Most of the times they were made of iron, but sometimes they used lead, especially in the 18th century.
