Are the holes different sizes? Threaded? How thick? My first thought is a die of some sort, with one handle broken off. Possibly for making wood dowels or pegs of different sizes? Interesting!!

The center hole is the largest. Then the next two on each side of the center are smaller, but just a like each other. And so on, and so on. They are threaded, and it's a half inch thick. Looks like there was a handle identical to the one attached, on the opposite side.

With two handles it would be shaped like a wood shaving tool, but I can't figure why the threaded holes? Monty
