Hello good people

I found this near the narragansett bay. It caught my eye because of the shape of the stone and the pieces cut away. I appreciate any help on this one. The material is very dense and the stone appears to have a patina amd very smoothed out surfaces. Where the chunks have been removed then line on the face is slighlty raised. Can the admin move this thread to natoce artifacts instead of modern flint knapping?
