Large Copper Coin Needs ID

When I dug this copper, it was just a black covered disc. Used some peroxide and a mild abrasive to clean it up. I can't seem to ID it. I think it is old england but not sure. Would like a date range and type if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any help here.

No way your ID was right, great job, I had quick finger problems. They only US coin I have is a 5 cent. However the profile is a little different on the 1799 which I should have twigged.
