Large copper bowl

In my never ending searches for treasure in thrift stores, I came across a large copper pan. It looks like a batea. It is 25 1/2 inches in diameter, and about 3 12/ to 3 3/4 inches deep. it has a triangular ring on the back for hanging up. Anyone seen anything like this before?

It looks like a wok.

It has obviously sat on a flame.
