Well I was out hunting at a local park and found this copper coin about the size of a of dollar. I located it about eight inches deep. I didn't give it much thought when I found it. I have been doing real good at not cleaning anything until I'm sure what it is. So I'm looking at this coin and I see no details on the coin. I decide I'm gonna clean it. Keep in mind this park is located off a very busy road and this coin was pulled 100 yards off the road. The park has been there since the forties as well. In my mind it can't be anything of value it's a token of some sort for sure I'm guessing. This park had to have been searched hundreds of times. well as I start cleaning on the edge it reads one hundred for a dollar. I had not idea what that meant. I am still thinking play money. But then i see a faint outline on the coin. Damn that looks like a liberty head.At this point I ruined any value there could have been I'm sure if it was a coin so I'm pissed! I turn to google and it looks like it might be a 1793-95 large cent. Check out the picture and see what you think.

It does look like a liberty cap from the pic but it's barely visible. Don't beat yourself up about it's value as copper coins tend to come out of the ground pretty beat up
