Large Cent & Silver Coins

[E-Trac-Ohio]

These finds are from the last few hunts I went on.
The Silver Dimes, other Coins and the Ring were found at a few different old houses.

A few days ago we went to a Colonial home site where "Gare" found a 1847 Large Cent last week.
This home site is located in the back corner of a 500 acre Farm.
I found a 1838 Large Cent, two Flat Buttons and pieces of a Crotal Bell.
We will have to go back and expand our search area for sure.

1838 - Large Cent
1944 - Mercury Dime
1950-D - Roosevelt Dime
Silver Plated Ring

The Reverse side of this LC is in much better condition than the Obverse side.
I was just happy to get a readable date.

Thanks Silvermonkey - Can't complain - I've been having a pretty good season so far.
But I still miss hunting the 300 year old cellar holes you guy's have in New England.
When my Mother in Law lived in Maine I made some great finds there.
