Well went to a new site today, a old farm house built around the 1900, it started out slow with just clad and some square nails. Got a solid hit at 90 figured it was going to be the first sliver from this site when I pulled the plug I stuck the pin pointer in the hole and it was right in the bottom of the hole. I moved the dirt away with my hand and I could see it was good size but not sliver but copper because of the patina on it. I was a little disappointed until I could make out the head on the coin , I was pretty sure it was a large cent. I went to the hose and washed it off and new I had a large Cent, that made my day, it was the only old coin dug for the day. Here's some pics, I was bummed to see that someone had drilled a hole to wear it has a necklace, but got over it quick.
