Got out today for some detecting. I hit up this 1780's house that i already hit hard once before. Since the house has already been an office the entire side and rear are parking lot, so i had no choice but to do the far back and the far side. I got a solid dime/penny hit and dug down about 2 inches. came up with a nice 1885 Indian Head penny. I then moved to the front corner and got a solid quarter hit that was changing to penny.. I dug down about 3 inches and found large copper that after cleaning looks to be a LC. not sur though there isnt much to see. I was gettin alittle tired and was just going to go around the side of the house when i changed my mind and went further in the back. As soon as i put the coil down i realized it was a trash bin. Tons of garbage signals. I moved over to the left near a line of bushes and suddenly bang half/dollar hit on my IDX Pro. I almost didnt want to dig it. How many times does that good hit go to sh@* as soon as you dig down. Anyways dug a large plu to be salf and out pops a nice 1952-D Franklin Half. Its only my 2 Half ever so i was stoked. Also dug the normal trash, some toys, and three religious metals.. Looks like ther made of aluminum or sumthin. Thanks for lookin.
