Large cent and tractor part?..maybe

Past outing I found large copper along walkway in front of 1850 built home...coin much older than home but cleaned up fairly decent,dont think ill try anymore cleaning on it.The other piece found same day near cellar hole probably from early to mid 1800...pretty sure not from that time frame as looks like modern welding....maybe a brake housing of some type off tractor, im always dragging something home.
