outstanding...what kind of site...at a river...upland...hunting camp? Are you finding smaller pieces as well? Is this a midwest find?

Yes,It is a midwest find.On top of hill overlooking river in Ohio river valley. We are thinking a camp. We have found four celts an axe,dovetail,drill and several Adena,s here in the last few days. we are going back today.

Wow, I have hunted artifacts since I was 15 and I've never found one of those. I found a 1/2 of an axe last year. I would love to find something like that, good job!

I've searched for many years (but not in a long time) and have yet to find an axe or a celt. This has inspired me to get back out there and look on top for Indian artifacts and use the MD to look below. Some day I wish to add something like this to my collection.

I love to see the really old stuff.. Thanks for sharing.
