I found this button today and was hoping someone here could help me identify it. I am not well versed in flat buttons as they are pretty rare down here in south Georgia. It is 1.5"s in diameter, thin and has a circle of rays in the center. Around the rays are two different designs, raised dots with smaller dots encircling them. And what looks like a five pointed stars. Then a ring of dots surrounds everything else. There is no backmark that I can see. There are dimples on the back that were made to form the raised dots on the front. I can see were a shank was once attached but it is long gone. And there are minute traces of gold on the front. Please excuse the poor quality pictures. I took them inside at night. If needed I can take better pictures tomorrow.
