Large button with linked wreath pattern?

No idea what this could be, just regular pattern, or something special? It's a large flat button (approx size of half dollar). The front has a circular wreath/rope, the back does not show any markings. Any ideas, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Just an early civilian button and there's a million different designed. Those big ones are early so they are always a welcome site because who knows what else may be close.
