I found this several years ago at a re-sale shop in a pile of junk that someone had just dropped off.
The actual buckle itself has no maker marks and appears to be brass with hints of a copper color patina in worn spots.
The buckle's iron pin appears originally hand-forged and has traces of pitting.
Any ideas to age or what it might have been used for?
Thank you in advance for any ideas!
