Large blue stone

I have no idea what I just bought. Pretty sure it’s not glass. Owner said it’s been in the family for at least 75 years. It’s huge probably weighs over 10 pounds. Need some help with trying to figure out what it is though. Any thought is helpful. Thank you very much!

It may have been a dream I had while looking at it. Although the story the guy was giving me helped explain some of that. He said he came out of the ocean somewhere outside of California! Lol.
