Lansing, Iowa on the Mississippi

Mount Hossmer park overlooking Lansing and downtown. I like these old river towns especially the masonry construction.

Yeah I like the old river towns also. My grandpa live in Burlington, Iowa along the Mississippi all his life, with the exception of going to France during WWI. He was very proud of his service over there. There's so much history along the Ohio, Mississippi and Missouri rivers. One of my favorite places to visit on the Mississippi is the Rock Island Arsenal.
