This morning I drove down to my favorite beach to see if there are any cuts. After jumping in the water I found a cut about 40 feet long and about 10 feet wide. Started working it and hit a 1954 Washington a half hour later I hit a 1911 V nickel. About a half hour later I hit a sterling religious ring, at this time I covered the whole cut and decided to leave.
On the way home I stopped at a 100+ year old park that's been pounded for the last 30 years. I picked a corned that I had some luck previously at. In no time I hit two early wheats, then I came up on a sweet sounding 11-45/46 at 3". Dug it up and got a 1903 barber dime! Then a few feet away I got a bouncy 9-35/37 at 10". Dug it up and got a 1897 Indian. A few wheats later I came up on a sweet sounding 23-22 target at 8". Dug it up and got 2 silver dimes stuck together, a Rosie and a merc (trifecta)
A few more wheats and I came up on a deep 12-43 (which is usually a penny) it was at 9-10". Dug it up and got a 41 merc
A few more wheats and it was time to go, on the way to the car I came across a faint 12-41 at about 11". Dug it up and got a 1913 barber dime.
So in all I got 10 wheaties, an 1897 Indian, 1911 V nick, 2 barber dimes 1903 & 1913, 2 mercs 1920 & 1941, 1947 Rosie, 1954 washington and a sterling ring. Those coins bring me to 350 silver coins for the year and the ring makes it my 45th sterling/.925 item for the year
HH everyone!
