Back at my favorite place today and as usual being here lifted my spirits. The wind was so strong and waves loud I had a nice break from being stuck in my own head. Nestled into a huge downed log that I soak in the sun on in the summer. Snapped some beautiful waves coming in. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! 🌊

I love walking the beaches on Lake Ontario. Chances of finding something neat are probable. Chances of fresh air and scenic views are guaranteed !

There's a cliffy spot near here , eagles congregate there for the open water in February. The Indians , French and British all paddled by at one point . I have been to some national parks. I choose the big lake for my forever spot !

I am due for a hike. There is this old 3 sided foundation there....built into a hill . You can see the opening to the water...the big water. I will click a few pics. Water below has that great green see through color. There's no agriculture in that rocky area. Did I say rocks 😆 free rocks everywhere!!

We are in the Golden Crescent ! It's a very interesting spot geologicaly and historical as well.

I'll have to look it up! My daughter calls me a history nerd and I wear that badge proudly. What an awesome spot to be!

The crescent is kinda like Henderson Harbor to Cape Vincent .

This is about an hour out from where I'm located but I try to visit when I'm in need of respite. It's just outside of Sodus Bay.
