Lake finds - in the rain 1 hr hunt

Went to a local lake for an hr this after noon during a light rain!

I started off going to the local old fair grounds but, people were training horses today so I skipped it, and ended up at the lake

The water was warm, and it was fun but cut short as I wasn't completely prepared for the weather, and had no water gear with me!

The old ring (1950s looking?) was in about 1 ft of water (could only wade so deep with no gear)!

Seen some people kayaking in the rain too!

It is copper base metal with a silver coating that is worn almost completely off.

The stone is emerald green - I don't believe it's a mood ring,

it seems to be older too (the style gives it away).

Well that's pretty cool. This will be my 1st summer detecting, so I'm hoping the lake's recede some and I can try a little of that water hunting.

Sounds like a good spot. I love area where I find jewelry or coins that has been in the water for a long time.
