Went back to the lake again today and got in the water. Stayed about knee/thigh deep and hunted right next to the same area I hunted yesterday, http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/today-s-finds/352006-lake-edge-hunt-water-1-may-2013-need-help-id-two-items.html

Also hunted about the same distance of shoreline just up and back and it took 2 hours. Lots of targets to dig again and one cool item that really made someone's day!

The tag belongs to one of my neighbors and good friends! They still live in the area and used to have a house on the lake but live one street back now. Jake was their old cat who they really loved. Tammy was so happy to get it that she plans on making it into a necklace! She also mentioned that learning metal detecting has been on her bucket list and she plans to talk to me more about it! New addict on the way!

The glass piece looks like some sort of light or fuse filament and the brass item looks to be part of an old fishing lure (Eppinger Dardevle).

Thanks for looking! We'll see what to morrow brings...may be volunteering my services to a friend of my wife's who lost her (or her husband's) wedding ring in their yard! Fingers crossed!

That's pretty cool that your friend is going to make a necklace from her cat tag you found. The daredevil lure is a fishing lure. I don't have a clue what the glass piece is, but it doesn't look like anything I would even want to touch.
