Metal Detecting
Hello everyone it's been sometime since my last post "like 2 years" but I'm back at it. Now that the Temps will start cooling down I will be getting out on the regular. Fall is my favorite time to Metal detect being low mosquito populations.. lol

I started out this morning at a 1800's cellar hole semi surrounded by thick vegition on some private property a friend of mine owns that was short lived due to being over ran by mosquitoes! I guess 30% deet isn't strong enough.. lol I did manage to pull 2 buttons from that site before throwing up the white flag and high tailing it back to the car.

On the way home stopped by one of them so called Hunted Out Parks... As I walked to one of my favorite spots in this park I noticed 3 dug holes around a giant oak tree and when I say holes I mean I could put my whole 10" D2 coil in the hole up to about 6" deep so as I was filling in someone's mess I turned on the VX3 and just for laughs I checked the holes to my surprise in the plug was this beat up 1918 Mercury dime but it's silver and I'll take it. I also dug lots of trash and found two nice marbles.
