Hey Everyone;

I've been going on short after work hunts to a small picnic area where once stood a few homes but were bulldozed sometime in the '50's.
I have a feeling I will be hunting this place off & on for some time into the future. There are good finds here.

It seems like all the homes are under the soil. I'm digging up every house part you can imagine but it is worth it...at least to me.

I was bummed that the 1936 California chauffeur's badge was damaged but it is still a cool find. Gold buddha was a nickel signal. The big silver broach was a screamer. The religious medallion is a Phillipine religious emulet easy to locate on internet but can't find a date/time when they were made.

I have found a few silvers and wheats here. An 1800's quarter and 1800's dime were found by 2 buddies of mine.

Hunting with a Nox 600

Thanks for stopping in....

Great Job and Amazing Finds Happa!!

Kace

Cool finds, once you thin down the relics, I bet you start finding more coins.:icon_thumright:

Very cool finds! :icon_thumleft: Wish I could find a site like that!

Looks like a real nice variety of finds. I'd take a day like that.

wowza thats a good amount of great finds theres gotta be lots more Well done thats a honey hole for sure

Happa, you da man! Great site and great diverse finds.

I believe the fellow on the pedestal is Hamlet. The little round thing on the left is the skull of Yorick. "A pestilence on him for a mad rogue! 'a pour'd a flagon of Rhenish on my head once. This same skull, sir, was, sir, Yorick's skull, the King's jester." William Shakespeare

The small ring looks like it has a dogwood flower on it and that would make it Stuart Nye piece from Asheville NC.

The golden Buda, priceless.

The three boy scout kerchief clasps probably indicate that three strapping young fellows attempted to earn their "Streaking" merit badges there!

I'm saying banner on this one!

Thanks for stopping in and leaving your comments everyone... I appreciate it.

If you haven't used Maprika yet, try it. It put me in the locations of where the homes were standing.

Those are some nice finds, congrats. I’m in SoCal too but I have yet to hunt any parks, maybe one of these days.

Nice finds and nice Permission! Keep us updated as you find more

Nice finds! My hunting buddy found a chauffeur’s badge similar to yours a couple of years ago during a park hunt up here in the Central Valley. It’s always nice to see fellow Californians finding some older stuff. Thanks for sharing!
