Re: "Krazy klub token"

I think it's a Book Club for Children

Re: "Krazy klub token"

Thanks Jeff.

Re: "Krazy klub token"

This one is listed in Vacketta's Trade Tokens of Illinois as #Chicago KC40-5. There is a similar, but slightly larger, 10¢ denomination. Vacketta says rarity 4 - 10-20 known, $2-$3 valuation. But I can tell you that Chicago mavericks aren't on the top of many collectors' interest lists. This was a post-WWII South Side night club. No children allowed!

Re: "Krazy klub token"

Thanks Idaho... hmmm is that because it's a Maverick or because it's from Illinois?

In the Center it looked like "Booc" & when I Googled "Krazy Klub" I got
an online Childrens Book Club :)

I guess 2 & 2 Don't always Equil "Watt 4" :P

Thanks for the Correction John.

Re: "Krazy klub token"

Those darn kids are drinking earlier every year! lol :D

Re: "Krazy klub token"

ya alot kids i no think its kool to smoke and drink.im 12 and no 10 yr olds that have done crap like that.

Re: "Krazy klub token"

Actually what is in the center is the address - 8000. Being a maverick doesn't necessarily detract from value, but being a Chicago one does - the laws of supply and demand rule values and there are plenty of Chicago mavericks and not a lot of demand for them.
