Koss are very good. I have a set at home for my stereo. When I'm outdoors I use DetectorPro headphones - Black Widow or Rattler. Sunray makes quality products but I've never tried their headphones.

I just got the sunray gold pro's. Sorry it is my first pair. but from what the dealer said they are serviced by the same people who do black widow.. and the limiter switch would be a good option for my x70... they're really comfortable. let you know how they work out...Gh

The sunray gold pro headphones I got are very nice. I really noticed a difference. I can hear everything..especially in this Oklahoma wind....GH

I have the KOSS that came with my EX II. The Cord is too short and they are HEAVY.

The Sunray Gold Pros are AWESOME phones!!!! I love mine and I am ordering another pair.

SS, I have a pair of Black Widows on my waterproofed Sov GT and they are comfortable with good tones. ON my other Sov GT I use a pair of Whites, and they work fine as well.

The only problem I see is in the summer, the bikinis make my head buzz, but I am not sure yet if that is really a problem with my headphones... :D

No scientifc research has proven that when you mix black socks, sandals, sun and bikinis you create an EM disturbance wave which will cause buzzing among other symptoms! ::)

Can't be, I don't wear socks or sandals, I hunt in a pair of waterproof tennis with holes in bottoms and sides called water moccasins. My wife suspects it is a combination of bikinis, blood pressure and eye strain. I thought the dark tinted polorized sunglasses would help but it hasn't, if anything it worse ;D, I still get eye strain for some reason.....I will have to continuing investigating to see.

Bikini, uh, I mean tourist season is upon us soon............ ;)

The latest research has just been published. It seems that all detectors have an interaction with the fasteners on bikinis! You will just have to ask the offending person to remove the article of clothing causing problems and see if this helps with the buzzing. ::) ;) :)

I hear the elastic in the G strings causes the same problems as the clasps in the bikini tops.

This one may take a lot of research. It is best done alone without one's spouse or children present.

Good hunting, John K
